Concerto Italiano & Rinaldo Alessandrini debut at Carnegie Hall
On 21st February 2017 Rinaldo Alessandrini & Concerto Italiano made their debut at Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium as part of the La Serenissima: Music and Arts from the Venetian Republic festival!
Their appearance was met with rave reviews:
“The “Poppea” performance, with Rinaldo Alessandrini leading his little band of period instrumentalists and an excellent cast of singers led by Miah Persson and Sara Mingardo, was a fitting conclusion to a festival that must surely be counted a success in musical terms.”
James R. Oestreich, The New York Times
