Céline Moinet - Les stars de demain
Following her appointment as principle oboe of the celebrated Staatskapelle, Dresden in 2008, Céline Moinet has received invitations from such prestigious orchestras as the London Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Europe, Vienna Philharmonic and leading German orchestras such as the NDR Sinfonieorchester Hamburg, the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, the SWR Radiosinfonieorchester Stuttgart, the Philharmoniker Hamburg, and the Orchestra of the Frankfurt Opera.

Alongside her successful career as an orchestral musician, Céline appears regularly as a soloist and has performed the major oboe concertos with the Staatskapelle Dresden, Prague Philharmonia, Pacific Music Festival Orchestra, New Japan Philharmonic, Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, Kammerorchester Basel, and Dresdner Kapellsolisten. In 2014/2015, she will debut with the Orchestre National de Lille, in France, and Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra at Tokyo Opera City.

An active chamber musician, Celine has been invited to perform at the Salzburg and Aix-en-Provence Easter Festivals, the Colmar Festival and the Johannesburg International Mozart Festival. Her chamber-music partners include Matthias Goerne, Andreas Haefliger, Florian Uhlig, Renaud Capuçon, Christoph Eschenbach and the Quatuor Voce.

Born in France in 1984, Céline Moinet studied the oboe and chamber music at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris with David Walter and Maurice Bourgue, and in 2006, she was awarded a Premier Prix in both disciplines. She also studied the Baroque oboe with Marcel Ponseele and Xenia Löffler.

In 2004 and 2005, she completed her orchestral training as a member of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester under the direction of Claudio Abbado and, in 2006, was appointed principal oboe of the Nationaltheater-Orchester Mannheim.

Céline records for harmonia mundi: her first CD, released in 2012, comprised of solo oboe works and was awarded 5 stars by Diapason. This was followed by a disc presenting a collection of opera fantasies with harpist Sarah Christ.

Since April 2008, Céline Moinet has been Professor at the "Hochschule für Musik Carl-Maria von Weber" in Dresden.
