BIOGRAPHY

This new and exciting duo was formed in 2020 after mezzo-soprano Lucile Richardot and pianist Anne de Fornel met at a radio interview in France. They have already started making a name for themselves and will soon record their first CD, The Complete Melodies by Nadia and Lili Boulanger with harmonia mundi.

Lucile Richardot is renowned for the exceptional quality and timbre of her voice and sings a wide range of repertoire. Lucile has performed with ensembles such as Les Solistes XXI, Il Seminario Musicale, Correspondances, Pygmalion, Le Poème Harmonique, Pulcinella, Les Arts Florissants, and as a soloist with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Rotterdam Philharmonisch Orkest, The Monteverdi Choir & Orchestra under the baton of John-Eliot Gardiner, with whom she made her debut at Carnegie Hall and Teatro alla Scala.

Anne de Fornel is a Franco-American concert pianist and musicologist. She is Director of Research at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Lyon and an associate researcher at the Center of Research for Arts and Language. In 2020, Paraty released her album Cage Meets Satie: Works for Two Pianos, which received numerous awards.
