BIOGRAPHY

Praised for his “remarkable, strikingly- focused baritone voice”, Christian Andreas is a young German baritone, recently graduating from the Royal College of Music London.

This past season saw Christian playing the role of Harasta in Janacek’s The Cunning Little Vixen, as well as his debut at the Verbier Festival as Il Conte di Monterone in Verdi’s Rigoletto. He has performed with the Weimar Bach Cantata Academy, as well as the Junges Stuttgarter Bach Ensemble.

Upcoming engagements include a tour of Bach Cantatas in Germany this Spring, followed by Papageno in Die Zauberflöte at the Aquilon Music Festival Oregon in the USA. He also performs in a tour of Germany with Vox Orchester with works including Alexanderfest by Händel.

In December, Christian embarks on a Concert Tour to China with Slaithwaite Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2020/21, Christian will join the ensemble of Opera de Lyon Opera Studio.
