BIOGRAPHY

Born in Portugal, Diogo Costa is a rising star conductor with a vast knowledge of repertoire ranging from baroque to contemporary music.

In the UK, he made his debut with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, conducting a world premiere by Professor Andrew Lewis in March 2018, as well as with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra in June. He has also worked with the West European Studio Orchestra on a project recorded in the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London.

Upcoming projects include concerts with the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra for the seventh International Jorma Panula Conducting Competition.
