Young Argentinian-Italian tenor Emmanuel Faraldo is rapidly establishing an exciting career, centred in Europe. Recent engagements include Arbace Idomeneo, at Palau de Les Arts in Valencia, Ernesto Don Pasquale and Remendado Carmen with Opera de Tenerife, Handel’s Messiah with Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias and Bastien Bastien und Bastienne with Opera de Cámara de Navarra as well as his debut at Festival Rossiniano di Pesaro singing Libenskof Il Viaggio a Reims. Engagements this season include the main-role in Le Châtelet’s production of Le Chanteur de Mexico at Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid and Teatro Campoamor in Oviedo, and Idamante Idomeneo at the Lithuanian National Opera directed by Graham Vick. These engagements will be followed by Faraldo’s debut at Teatre del Liceu as Sir Bruno Robertson I Puritani.
