Dmitry Shishkin makes his debut at Wigmore Hall

Dmitry Shishkin will make his debut at Wigmore Hall, London on 13th January 2022.

Alongside French pianist Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, Shishkin will perform works written or transcribed for two pianos. The young Russian pianist came into the limelight when he was awarded the Silver Medal at the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition and won First Prize at the 73rd Geneva International Music Competition the year before.

In the 2021 season, Dmitry made his debut at Le Festival Radio France Occitanie Montpellier, performed several solo recitals in Korea, and a concert at the Théâtre de l'Octogone as part of the Festival de Lavaux in Switzerland. Dmitry also embarked on a tour of France, performing at the Église Notre-Dame in Bordeaux, Théâtre Alexandre-Dumas in Paris, a live broadcast concert at Théâtre de l’Alliance Française for Radio France, and finished in Paris with a concert at La Scala.
