Franz Schubert inspired work ‘Shadowy Fish’ by Christian Mason to be performed by Orchestre National d’Auvergne.

Many wonderful melodies were born from Franz Schubert's fascination with poetry and voice. Poems such as Le Roi des Aulnes (Erlkönig), Marguerite au Rouet (Gretchen am Spinnrade), La Belle Meunière (Die schöne Müllerin), take us on a journey into his timeless, sensitive and colorful universe.

The fascination with this music lasts beyond the ages and became the favorite music of a young boy, a future composer in residence at the Orchester National d'Auvergne, Christian Mason. The layered and multicolored reflections of his music are a direct homage to the romantic composers.
