BIOGRAPHY

A former viola player, Quentin Hindley studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) with Hungarian conductor Zsolt Nagy between 2007 and 2012, receiving first prizes in conducting, orchestration and analysis.

Highlights of the past season include the premieres of Arthur Lavandier’s Legend of the Dragon at the Opéra de Lille, together with renowned French ensemble, Le Balcon, a debut in Hungary with the Miskolc Symphony Orchestra, with which he gave a subsequent sold-out concert at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris with a Mozart programme, in Slovenia (with Ljubljana Academy of Music Orchestra) and Croatia (Zagreb Academy of Music Orchestra and Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra), as well as a recording session with the London Symphony Orchestra.
