Bertrand Cuiller performs with Le Caravansérail and embarks on a Canadian tour

Bertrand Cuiller set up Le Caravansérail in 2015 when he decided to extend his activities as a soloist and continuo player and push the boundaries of his musical creativity. The ensemble frequently performs both opera and orchestral music, specialising in the repertoire of the 17th and 18th centuries (though the group enjoys exploring more contemporary works too).

This week, the ensemble will perform four concerts in several French towns just north-east of Paris that are free and open to all. Each day will consist of a short 20-minute concert followed by discussions about the instruments and repertoire of the 17th and 18th centuries, as well as the profession of the musician-performer, after which there will be a longer 45-minute concert featuring works by Corelli, Marais, J.S. Bach, and Rebel.

TOUR TO CANADA
Bertrand Cuiller will end July with a tour to Canada where he will perform four concerts, three alongside the esteemed violinist Guillaume Villeneuve and one solo recital. There, he will perform some of the favourites from the violin repertory, including J.S. Bach’s famous ‘Chaconne’ and Tartini’s ‘Devil’s Trill’ Sonata. See below for more information!
