New album from Orfeo 55!

Tomorrow sees the release of Nathalie Stutzmann & Orfeo 55's new album Quella Fiama - Arie Antiche.

Their fourth joint release; the album features a selection of pieces from Arie antiche, a selection of songs compiled by the 19th-century Italian composer and music editor, Alessandro Parisotti. Although he was primarily a composer, Parisotti is remembered for rediscovering and collecting this compilation, a fashionable practice at the time.

In their release, Stutzmann and her ensemble revitalize these songs with original orchestrations aiming to recreate the original atmosphere and spirit.

Nathalie Stutzmann and Orfeo 55 will take this programme on tour in Montpellier’s Opéra Comédie (November 5), Paris’ La Seine Musicale (February 16) and festivals across France and Germany. Nathalie will also give masterclasses on Arie antiche at the Montpellier Conservatoire (November 6 & 7) and Paris Conservatoire (November 8 & 9), open to the public.
