Soprano Julia Sitkovetsky receives outstanding admiration as she continues to perform as “Queen of the Night” in Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” with the Scottish Opera
Visit the Scottish Opera to see Julia Sitkovetsky as she continues to perform as “Queen of the Night” in Mozart’s “The Magic Flute”.
Directed by Sir Thomas Allen, the five-star production tells the story about Prince Tamino (Tenor Peter Gijsbertsen and William Morgan) wanting to rescue the Queen of the Night’s (Soprano Julia Sitkovetsky) beautiful daughter Pamina (Soprano Gemma Summerfield) from the evil and mysterious Sarastro (Bass James Creswell and Dingle Yandell).
The opera is performed in English and conducted by Tobias Ringborg and Derek Clark.
We are proud of Soprano Julia Sitkovetsky receiving outstanding compliments as “The Queen of the Night”:
“[…] while British soprano Julia Sitkovetsky sings the Queen of the Night’s famous aria with awe-inspiring vocal dexterity.”
The Harald
“Julia Sitkovetsky’s Queen of the Night made the high notes sound sweet, her high-octane coloratura earning cheers as she absolutely nailed her difficult arias”
