This weekend, acclaimed Bass-Baritone Carsten Wittmoser will perform the role of "Father Peter” in Engelbert Humperdinck’s late-romantic opera, Hansel and Gretel (based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale of the same name). Directed by Mauricio Garcia Lozano, the opera will be performed on Saturday, 24 August and Sunday, 25 August (both at 14:00) at the Teatro de las Artes in Mexico.

The opera in three acts is heavily inspired by German folk music, and features the Orquesta Sinfónica de la Universidad Panamericana, conducted by Iván López Reynoso.

Tickets for both performances are available to purchase here!
