From 27-29 September, acclaimed pianist Momo Kodama will perform three distinct recitals across the Festival “Muse & Piano” at the Louvre-Lens Museum.

The weekend provides an opportunity to experience Chopin in a visionary way, in which the audience will not only immerse themselves in the world of the composer through his music, but also through painting and literature.

On Friday, 27 September (20:00), Momo will perform a Chopin recital during the exhibition “Pologne” dedicated to the composer’s homeland. Using wireless headphones, the public will be able to walk through the exhibition while listening to the live recital. This is one of the first “Silent Wi-fi” concerts, offering the audience a brand-new experience merging music and visual art.

On Saturday, 28 September (15:00), Momo will offer a recital completely dedicated to Chopin, as a mirror of the exhibition “Pologne”, revealing his nostalgia for his country throughout his work.

Finally, on Sunday 29 September (15:00), Momo will give an intimate Chopin recital alongside historian Jean-Yves Patte, bringing to life the atmosphere of a 19th Century Parisian salon, combining the music and letters of the Romantic composer.

These recitals offer an innovative approach to the music of Chopin, performed with the unique sensibility of Momo Kodama.
