Reginald Mobley returns to Belgium, Netherlands and Germany with the Balthasar-Neumann-Chor & Ensemble conducted by Thomas Hengelbrock.

They will present a programme of works by G.F. Händel and J.S Bach.

Get ready for a portrait of the faith experience in the early 18th century: the young Handel’s Dixit Dominus from 1707 with abrupt changes, bold chromaticism and driving rhythms that alternate with wonderful vocal lines; and add to that Bach's most ambitious motet, full of contrasts between light and dark, masterfully captured in five voices and broken up by unexpected solos.

26 September, 20:00, De Oosterpoort (Groningen)
