The Van Kuijk Quartet and Alexandre Tharaud will be performing at the opening night of Classical Next on 16 May at 20.00 at De Doelen, Rotterdam.

Marzena Diakun is in Scandinavia to conduct the Musikhögskolans symfoniorkester in Copenhagen and Malmö: with concerts on the 18th and 19th of May.

Jonathon Heyward will return to LA for his last tenure as a Dudamel Conducting Fellow, after making his debut with the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne last week.

Following acclaimed success at La Bellevilloise in Paris, Momo Kodama, Josep-Ramon Olivé and Pascal Rénéric will bring their Debussy programme, ‘Claude, es-tu là?’, all the way to China for the 100th anniversary of the composer's death.

Tuesday will see the final stop of a highly successful debut tour to Asia for Orfeo 55, with a concert at Kioi Hall, Tokyo.

A busy month for Christian Mason, who will be a guest lecturer for the Webern day at the Boulezsaal in Berlin on 20 May, and the featured composer of the ‘Music of Today’ series with the Philharmonia at the Royal Festival Hall (Southbank Centre) on 24 May, including the world premiere of Man Made.
